On St. George's Day eve last night, we heard Avion play English artists in an English pub, and we took ages to prepare a proper cup of tea, which one drank from a bone china teacup with one's pinkie finger delicately extended. Unless, of course, one pounded down warm pints as one should at The King's Head pub.
JoAnn found the evening "uplifting"...
DJ Suzi's Acoustic Sunrise at 5 am SLT Sunday takes us to Ella's for a session of smooth jazz while we cavort in lingerie, a last-Sunday-of-the-month tradition at VB II.
DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues, and jazz every Monday at 9 am SLT. This week, says Bea: "This started as an r&b set - and then it sort of evolved into a harmonies set. Lots of r&b and soul, though."
DJ JoAnn plays music from the incomparable '80s Mondays at 5 pm SLT. Tons of memorable hits and always a few that are likely to be new to you.
DJ Avion spins tunes old and new on Tiki Toosday, 5 pm SLT, at a variety of locations on the two VB II sims. This week we'll be in the Venus Beach Swimming Pool.
DJ JoAnn presents symphonic and goth metal when we gather at Madam Lash's House of Pleasure and Pain each Wednesday at 5 pm SLT. Goth attire is entirely optional.
DJ Surfer provides the music when we get together for Games Night, Thursdays at 5 pm SLT. During Games Night or any other time, the Amusement Park, Games Room, and nearby airfield and racetrack provide endless activities and fun.
Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Joann spins a musical theme that often takes place in one of Avion's clever venues. This week: Tool Time on a set that looks like a construction zone. Bring your tools, or just ogle the workers.
