A Cascade of Mermaids

For this week's  event at 4 pm SLT Sunday we plunge into the Mermaid Pool for some finny frolics. If you don't have a mermaid costume there are several freebies suitable for classic avatars at the pool, or swimwear will do just as well. And a newish feature is a mermaid couples dance ball!

Last Sunday evening we visited the Happy Daze diner where DJ Avion played a selection of songs relating to food in celebration of the forthcoming American Thanksgiving. Guests were invited to don foody attire - wear it, prepare it, serve it or be it - resulting in some imaginative costumes.

For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT Sunday, DJ Qntal  will play an "Early Morning 80s" set in a venue to be decided. Last week, DJ Shelly presented "Love Songs and Lingerie" on the Big Bed in the Venus Bean lounge.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic set of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday Bea says "No hodge podge this week - just miscellany"; but don't be surprised if a little hodge and/or podge slips in.

DJ JoAnn continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always lots of favorites, as well as music rarely or never heard before.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we gather for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between the VB Pool and Surf's Up which will be the location of next Tuesday's event.

DJ JoAnn presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT  in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music from a fantastic but often overlooked genre of music.

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ JoAnn plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week JoAnn will play songs about Black Friday, the post-Thanksgiving shopping frenzy. Last week the theme was Clothes, with most guests choosing latex and lingerie as their preferred contribution.
