Week Ending 12 January 2025

After drafting a text-only blog the results were dull, boring, uninteresting, so with a change of mind I will try taking only one or two photographs per event of each person or couple to bring the workload down to a far more manageable level. Results may be dismal, but let's see how it goes .....

We start our week on Monday at 5pm SLT with DJ Cerydwen's 80s Night, with lots of favorites but always full of surprises with songs rarely or never heard before.

On Tuesday at 5pm SLT DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.

DJ Cerydwen presents Hard Rock and Metal Night on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her  latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an absorbing and compelling genre of music.

Our last two events for the week are both theme parties:

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen presents a different weekly musical theme. This week, Cerydwen will present Angels and Demons in the half-and-half Heaven and Hell venue. Pick your side! Last week we returned to Venus Freeze for Part 2 of "Winter and Snow" to mark the onset of the northern winter and snow season.

.... and on Sunday at 4pm SLT DJ Bea will play a selection of rock'n'roll tunes when we return to the period Malt Shop. Haul those bobby-sox and poodle skirts out of inventory, or find something equally fifties.  Last week we paid tribute to our kittycat friends, in the dual-themed Dolly's (Best Little Cathouse in SL). Their human servants displayed an array of costumes in theme with either meaning of cathouse, dancing to music with a feline and ladies-of-dubious-virtue bent provided by DJ Avion.
