It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like...

The Venus Beach II sim looks more and more Christmas-y every day. If you find yourself with more free time during the holidays, be sure to join us at DJ Bea's Monday Dance Party today at 9 am SLT, DJ Avion's Topless Tiki Toosday, DJ Surfer's Game Night on Thursday (often followed by a relaxing soak in the spa). Next Sunday at 4 pm SLT it'll be Christmas Bare as You Dare.

Last evening at Ella's, Bea and Surfer shared top honors in the Best Formal competition in a field of lovely dresses (shown below starting with the co-winners).

Let's Play 'Dress Up'!

Next Sunday we return to the stylish supper club environment of Ella's for Best Formal competition. The weekend continues today with Bea's Monday Dance Party at 9 am SLT. On Tuesday join us at the Surf's Up! tiki bar for Topless Tiki Toosday. Test your greed quotient and try to find the answer to the vexing question "Are there any losers in strip poker?" at Surfer's Games Night on Thursday.

Last evening we slipped into the VBII pool and Bea (in the hat) won Best in Beachwear.

Let's Pool Our Assets

Our asses, too, as next Sunday marks the return of the ever popular swimming pool set and a Best in Swimwear contest. Start the week at 9 am SLT Monday with DJ Bea. Give "the girls" some fresh air at Topless Tiki Toosday, and get your (competitive) juices flowing at Games Night on Thursday.

On Sunday, we went to Mac's, where the smoke billowing out of the chimney symbolized the warmth of the company on St. Andrew's Day. Best in Scottish honors were shared by Bev (in blue "Ohio tartan"), Qntal (in a lovely gown) and Shy (in golf togs).

Our Ozzie Co-Hosts Turn Two!

At an impromptu event Saturday in a festive mountaintop setting in Venus Beach II, our Australian co-hosts, Laura and Avion, celebrated their second anniversary. On Sunday we observed an early American Thanksgiving with Pilgrims, Indians, and even a turkey turning out. Pilgrim Bea won the competition, in which everyone entered received a vote.

Next Sunday we observe St. Andrew's Day. And the competition is Best Scottish (not Best After a Couple of Scotches, though that is an interesting idea). Leading up to it, there's Bea's Monday Dance Party, Avion's Topless Tiki Toosday, and Surfer's Games Night on Thursday.

Sunday's the Time to Give Thanks...

...so dress up in goofy Pilgrim or Indian costumes and join us at 4 pm SLT for the Venus Beach II observance of American Thanksgiving. Check your weapons at the door--we'll pretend everyone got along. Last night at the Rock Hard Café, DJ Bea rocked the malt shop with hits from the era and Sunbeam was voted Best in 50s.

Today, join Bea for the Monday Dance Party at 9 am SLT. And don't forget Topless Tiki Toosday and Game Night on Thursday.

Work up a happy daze or a Sunday night fever

Yes, it's the Malt Shop at 4 pm SLT Sunday for a Best in '50s event. Last night, it was a feathery frolic on the big bed as, once again, there was a three-way tie for Best in PJs: Alwayz, Bea, and Sunbeam. Troilism seems to be getting popular in VBII.

Also this week: join DJ Bea at 9 am today; strip down to swimwear (or less) for Topless Tiki Toosday with Avion; and giggle through Game Night with DJ Surfer on Thursday.

Oh Oh, I Sense a Pillow Fight in Our Future

On a wet and wonderful Sunday, Venusians flocked to the Mermaid Pool, where they were visited frequently by Flapper, who once again was unable to use her bottle-nose to join the contest. Others did, and the tri-winners as Best Mermaid were Bea (seen in pink with synchronized swimmer Bev), Surfer (with coconut half shells) and merdemon Irkalla (with diver's note pad), the latter two seen flanking Lyric.

Topless Tiki Toosday tomorrow, Game Night Thursday, then next Sunday it's a PJ Party. So, search your closets for jammies or nightgowns or boyshirts or whatever it is you sleep in...if anything.
