Venus Beach II's Hidden Places - Part 3

In the third on the series of "Hidden Places" I'm going to take you to yet another little known spot within our two sims. I'm not going to tell you where they are ~ part of the challenge is to find the place for yourself!

Today's spot is put quite simply "A Tent" however, it's a tent with a view (Yep, thats a clue!). Really cosy place to watch the sunset, or enjoy some privacy in the beautiful surrounds of the Venus Beach II sims.

Venus Beach II's hidden places ~ Part 2

Today I have travelled to the edge of the sim to show you what is one of the least most visited parts of our community. The spot doesn't really have a name, but the area is known as the 'Venus Beach Peninsula' At the end of this 'Peninsula' is a little jetty, and at the end you'll find a little floating lounge room, complete with couples and singles poses, a yoga pose, and some candles. Add to that the ambient sounds of the wind and water, a great view when your viewer is switched to sunset, and the lighthouse nearby, it all makes this a great spot, in a rather unique area of our Venus Beach Sim..

Venus Beach II Event Pics

The last week has seen a flurry of themed events at Venus Beach II. On Friday, we had the Country and Western themed event in the Venus Gardens Sim. Our Friday event kicks off at 4am SLT, a bit early for those from the U.S., but a good time for others to join in.

We also had  the Indian Themed event. The famous Indian set was rezzed, (it hits the trees in the lagoon at the back!) and we had a night with a truly Indian theme, clothing and all!

If that wasn't enough, DJ Avion played some great beats on Monday with the Playboy event. The Playboy mansion (lol) was rezzed - (No! Not the real one!, our mini version!)and we all dressed up in our favourite bunny outfits to have some fun.
Lets not also not forget the Pool Party on Sunday, which is a weekly themed event!

Venus Beach II's hidden places - Part 1.

Beyond the dance floor there is a world of two sims, and each little area has it's distinctive theme. I thought of doing a series on the hidden places at VBII.... and I challenge you to find each spot!.

There are so many places to be alone, or with that special someone at Venus Beach II.. The sims are often peaceful, quiet and reflective places. Today I took a picture of me at the "Old Tree Stump" hidden deep in the Venus Gardens Sim..

These places are there to be explored.. don't forget each January we do a rebuild... so these little spots might be gone forever if you don't go explore soon!!

Back after holidays

Hi there girls...

I'm back inworld, and online with the blog, after my extended break overseas in Europe. Myself and my family had a great, if not expensive holiday, but we really enjoyed ourselves. We visited some great spots, including the UK (to see family), Denmark, and also Germany and France. For me the highlight was visiting Germany, a place I have learnt so much about over the years - and of course, when in France, one goes to Euro Disney, that was a holiday within a holiday!

I'm getting back to blogging now... Any ideas please let me know.. and if you have any pictures from Venus Beach II, please send them on to me, and I'll try my best to get them on this blog! (No nudity!!)

No Blog Posts until Mid-October

Well, girls, I hope you have been enjoying this light and breezy blog over the past few months?
I'm off to the U.K. to see family, and will return in mid-October. Suffice to say, there will be no blog posts until then. Remember to check back then.

Great time had at our Brit-Night!

We had a great time at our British Party on Friday morning! The attire was not themed, but we had a few turn up in some great outfits, Our very own Alwayz looked like Gerri from the Spice Girls.. Can you pick which one is her in the pics below?

To add something different to the night, i asked if the peeps wanted to do an impromptu quiz... and the vibe was YES, so we gave it a go.

The questions where of course, about Britain!

It spurred on some good chat later, so we're thinking we might do that again sometime. What do you all think??

Next Friday and each Friday 5am event during September will be a traditional dance party...so come on down and support us!
