It was a big night at the spectacular Moulin Rouge with a bevy of beauties attired in heels, hose and hats. Qntal (that's her in the fab wide-brimmed white hat) took top honors.
Kick off this week with the Beavent at 12 noon SLT Monday. Bring your "girls" to Topless Tiki Toosday, and your competitive nature to Game Night on Thursday. Friday marks the final 5 am SLT event of the season (until the clocks once again do...um...something) with our co-hosts Avion and Laura. Sunday night is a Nerd Fest. Ooooh, can I be the nerdy librarian? Er, wait, I am. *blush*

Somewhere, the clocks begin their seasonal changes in a couple of weeks. So come chat and giggle with Laura and Avion, the co-owners of the Venus Beach II sims, the next two Fridays, Sept. 27 and Oct 4. The Oz Hour events start at 5 am SLT. After Oct. 4, the event will be gone for several months.
It was Sunbeam Sunday as she won Best in Swing Attire last evening.. Next Sunday, it's Hats, Hose and Heels. Also this week: the Beavent this morning, Topless Tiki Toosday, Game Night in the Venus Gardens Amusement Park on Thursday, and the 5 am SLT dance party on Friday. And lots to do any other time you visit VBII.

Alwayz was the Big Bird at Sunday's Best in Pirate competition aboard the HMS Booty, but what an array of terrific costumes from everyone. And Avion's set was amazing! (pix below) Next Sunday, it's Swing with DJ Bea.
Also, this week: the Monday morning Beavent, Topless Tiki Toosday, Game Night on Thursday, and for a few more weeks (or while the moon is still retrograde, or sumpthin' like that) the Hour of Oz very early on Friday morning.

After you recover from Tuesday's Topless Tiki Toosday, drop by Game Night Thursdays at the emerging Venus Gardens Amusement Park. There are rides (roller coaster, Ferris wheel), motorsports (bumper cars, go carts, motorcycles/race cars on the big track in the sky); flying (helicopter, seaplane) and motorboating around the twin sims. And competitive games like poker, pool, bowling, archery, riflery, and bull riding. Even if (like me) you're an inept gamer, you can end the evening relaxing at Caf-a-blanca coffee shop or in the lovely spa Avion built for the park. And then giggle about your experience at Friday's early morning event.
Bea and Surfer shared best schoolgirl honors at Back to School Night on Sunday. This week it's "the blues" with a Best in Denim competition Sunday night, followed Monday morning by DJ Bea's weekly event.

The pool set returned Sunday evening for an end of summer event, and Qntal captured Best in Swimwear honors with her adorable vintage outfit.

Lots to do at VBII tonight, in addition to Avion's terrific beach music, dancing, chatter and giggles. Join us at 5 pm SLT at Surf's Up for Topless Tiki Toosday, and take a break on the waves during your visit.
On Sunday, DJ Avion Rocked the Taj (Mahal) with yet another colorful set. Once again Sunday night voting was widely distributed among most of the attendees. Best in Indian honors were shared by three people for the third time in a month: Bea, Sunbeam, and Surfer.
Friday morning's 5 am SLT event is timed to accommodate nearly all of our international members, and on occasion it might catch one of our Left Coast Americans still in her jammies.
Last Thursday, DJ Surfer provided her usual excellent rock tunes at Game Night, as we all tried our hand at just a few of the many activities in Avion's still-emerging Venus Gardens Amusement Park. The photographer is still working on the art of capturing fast-moving vehicles.
