The Early Bird Gets the Bookworm

Avion's new Venus Beach Public Library, a perfect example of a small-town library (with a few amusing and naughty touches), was the venue last evening as a variety of bookworms and literary characters gathered to dance and chat. Qntal, Surfer, and Shy tied for Best in Library. In addition, the event opened with VBII's first ever storytime. With scheduled storyteller Emma Foehammer ailing, Shy donned her protagonist's skimpy bartender outfit and voiced "Bar Snack." 

This week begins with the Beavent at 9 am SLT today. Topless Tiki Toosday is at 5 pm, and Game Night is at 5 pm Thursday. Next Sunday Bea will spin blues and the competition will be Best in Denim.

Feel Free to Take Some Poetic License

Yep, it's library week at VBII. Sunday's event in Avion's perfect replica of a small town one-room library calls for you to come as a favorite character from literature or as someone who'd be seen in a library. As an added bonus we'll have the amazing voice of Emma Foehammer entertain us with an erotic story. [Here are two youtube samples of her work: "Him" and "Naughty in the Kitchen".] Before that drop by the Beavent at 9 am today, Topless Tiki Toosday at 5 pm, and Game Night at 5 pm on Thursday.

Last night we traveled at warp speed aboard Avion's starship USS Boobieprize and danced to spacey tunes. The event attracted characters from a variety of species and genres. JoAnn Hax and Shy ET tied for Best in Sci-Fi.
