Following on the heels of our recent week of North Americana (Canada Day, U.S. Independence Day), this week we'll be so French you'll be oui-oui-ing all over the place. Tuesday it's Bastille Day and next Sunday Paris's legendary Moulin Rouge will be the scene of our French showgirls event.
Last evening DJ Bea featured the integrated, all-female International Sweethearts of Rhythm at The Venus Room. Shy was voted Best in Swing Era Attire.

Topless Tiki Toosday will observe Bastille Day this week, but be careful to not lose your head over Avion's latest hat creations. Last week we celebrated VBII's fourth birthday.

Last evening as we entered the fireworks-festooned White House we were greeted by President Obama (not his predecessor once removed..so we didn't wear kneepads). Surfer and Tiffany were voted Best in Americana as we shoved aside the furniture in the Oval Office and danced to two hours of Avion's eclectic musical Americana. If you missed out, be sure to pick up Avion's unique Independence Day hats for free in The Shops just east of the landing area.
Next week, DJ Bea's swing set will feature the integrated, all-female International Sweethearts of Rhythm as we put on our Swing Era party dresses.
Today at 9 am, DJ Bea returns to kick off the week with summer tunes.
Tuesdays at 5 pm we meet in a variety of colorful, beachy settings. Last week we celebrated Canada Day at Avion's slightly-altered Neon Palms. And, this week we'll be observing VBII's Fourth Birthday!
Every Thursday at 5 pm we visit the Amusement Park for DJ Surfer's Games Night.
