Bea's Barenaked Ballroom brought a range of elegantly attired women in various states of deshabille to the supper club atmosphere of Ella's Sunday evening, even if many seemed to have misplaced their gowns. JoAnn was voted Best in BNB as we danced to two hours of jazz, blues, and show tunes.
That stylish BNB look would fit right in at Avion's realistic "Casino Royale" setting, where next Sunday we'll be looking for Best Bond Girl (specific ally or nemesis, or a generic denizen of the Monte Carlo Casino who looks likely to lose her dress to the smooth-talking superspy).

This week Avion's Topless Tiki Toosday will be held in the colorful Neon Palms cave.
Wednesdays at 6 pm SLT DJ Bea does a classic swing event at Honeysuckle Rose. Swing era attire or classy casual. Gentlemen welcome.

Technical difficulties resulted in a switch of Sunday events. So, next Sunday we'll gather in Bea's Barenaked Ballroom to demonstrate how stylish and elegant we can look while wearing nearly nothing (or as little as your comfort level allows you). The key, of course, is accessories--hose, heels, hats, scarves, gloves, hair, makeup, jewelry, lingerie, corsage, or anything else that will make you look ready for a formal ballroom...minus the formal gown.
Last evening, Avion came to the rescue with a terrific overnight playlist of Vietnam era tunes in a hangar she updated from its World War II roots. Everyone was in uniform, even Cap'n Kitty. Voting for Best in Uniform resulted in a four-way tie. Winners were: Alwayz, JoAnn, Qntal, and Surfer.

Classic swing with DJ Bea is a fixture at Honeysuckle Rose at 6 pm SLT on Wednesdays. Swing era attire or classy casual please. It's our only coed event so feel to invite a male friend or date.
DJ Surfer's rock tunes provide the background for Thursday's 5 pm SLT Games Night, where we enjoy group games or pursue our own interests in the air or in the Amusement Park.
