Venus Beach II Newness

The carousel at the Amusement Park has been replaced with an updated version, lower land impact and we can now select our rides instead of being seated randomly.

And for more adventurous circling, try the new Sky-High with a bunch of goofy ride choices.

For more sedentary pleasures, check out the new board games Avion has added to the Park. Fully functional chess and checkers boards await to challenge your strategic thinking.

Also New: Sneak Preview

Be sure to get a sneak preview of coming attractions by checking out Venus Freeze, Avion's 'permanent winter' and newest recreation area in VB II. It's filled with activities, relaxation and cuddles, and is still a work in progress leading up to its Grand Opening, Sunday, February 18, at the midpoint of the 2018 Winter Olympics.  Use the slurl above or TP from the VB II landing hut.

DJ Bea rocked the Rock Hard Café malt shop Sunday evening with two hours of pre-British Invasion American rock. We did our best to remember (or imagine) 1950s attire.

It's DJ Qntal's turn at the turntable this week as the Le Mew & Le Purr partnership continues the Acoustic Sunrise tradition, Sundays at 5 am SLT. This week features lingerie and love songs on the Big Bed.

On occasional Saturday mornings, DJ Bea hosts impromptu jazz at Venus Bean. Last week she featured Ella Fitzgerald's and Louis Armstrong's  version of "Porgy and Bess."

DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of classic rock, blues, and jazz every Monday at 9 am SLT. This week, says Bea: "twofers, twofers, and twofers - except for when I do threefers."

DJ JoAnn plays music from the incomparable '80s at 5 pm SLT Mondays. Tons of memorable hits, and always a few that are likely to be new to you.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new on Tiki Toosday, 5 pm SLT, at a variety of tropical locations on the VB II sims. This week we'll be oceanside at Surf's Up! Tiki Bar.

DJ JoAnn plays symphonic and goth metal when we gather at Madam Lash's House of Pleasure and Pain each Wednesday at 5 pm SLT.

DJ Surfer provides the music when we get together for Games Night, Thursdays at 5 pm SLT. During Games Night, or any other time, the Amusement Park, Games Room and nearby airfield and racetrack provide endless activities and fun. [See VB II Newness above, too.]

Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ JoAnn spins a musical theme that often takes place in one of Avion's clever venues. Last week it was DJ Shelly filling in, in the Pyramid. This week JoAnn is back as we take flight to Avions Galore airfield.
