For this week's Sunday evening event at 4 pm SLT the venue will be the Rednekkid Bar & Grill Still swamp bar where DJ Avion will spin Louisiana-inspired tunes and related music. Wondering what to wear? Redneck, hillbilly or trashy chic would work.
Bea's This Week in VB II
Our celebration of Pride Month last Sunday evening saw us gather on the Village People set, many of us sporting pride colors, where we chatted and danced to DJ Avion's selection of music by LGBTQ artists.
For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Qntal will play a selection of swing revival music in the Honeysuckle Rose period site. Last week, Qntal presented a lively set of Celtic music in the Irish pub.
DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday, Bea says "I am going to Kick Out the Jams with some seriously rocking blues and blues rock."
DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always lots of favorites, as well as music you've rarely or never heard before.
DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between the VB Pool and Surf's Up, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.

DJ Cerydwen presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an oft-overlooked but compelling genre of music.
On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week, Cerydwen will present music all about sweets .... mmm, chocolate! Possible attire .... candy stripes, clothing with a confectionery motif, wearable treats? Lots of possibilities with some imagination. Last week Cerydwen played music with an ecological theme in celebration of World Environment Day.
