Bea Swings the Beach

This week we dance to the beat of the big bands on Sunday at 4 pm SLT when DJ Bea presents classic swing artists in the Honeysuckle Rose venue. Attire may be swing era, 1930s/40s, deco or just classy, but don't forget your dancing shoes!

Last week on Sunday evening at 4 pm, DJ Avion spun a selection of tittivating tunes for our  wet t-shirt event. Many guests stepped transpicuously up to the mark, while others bared it all! 

For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT Sunday, DJ Qntal will present songs about Party Animals, with animals in the title or lyrics. Last week Qntal presented Libations, songs about drinking and the smoky sort of soft drugs.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday Bea says "Been having fun with alphabetical by artist, so we will finish C and go through D - along with a couple of songs I picked up recently."

DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Lots of favorites, but always something new to discover from the decade that keeps on giving and surprising.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.

DJ Cerydwen presents Hard Rock and Metal Night on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an absorbing and compelling genre of music.

DJ Amber will not be available this week on Thursday at 5 pm slt but will return the following week with a mix of soft rock tunes from the 1970s onwards.

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen presents a different weekly musical theme. This week we climb to the treetops of Darkest SL for a dance event with a jungly motif, where Cerydwen will be drumming up a mix of themely tunes. Suggested dress is anything related to denizens of the jungle, human or animal. Last week Cerydwen presented Around the World, with songs mentioning world cities - guests rose to the occasion with a great variety of international attire.
