Star Wars Day

For this week's event at 4 pm SLT Sunday we teleport up to the Death Star to celebrate Star Wars Day, and all forms of science fiction. We have to wait until 2025 before May the Fourth falls on a Sunday, but we'll get as close as we can until then. Star Wars costumes are welcome, as is any other sort of sci-fi attire. Or come as you are.

Last Sunday evening DJ Avion slowed the tempo a little with soft rock suitable for a formal evening in the elegant environs of Ella's. Guests looked wonderful in a dazzling array of evening-wear.

For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Qntal will play a selection of song covers, which often improve upon and are more popular  than the originals. Last week Qntal presented the regular end-of-month Love Songs and Lingerie on the Big Bed at Venus Bean with a lovely selection of romantic tunes. 

DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday Bea will be "continuing my meander through my alphabetical list of artists with the letter R" .

DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Lots of favorites, but always something new to discover from the decade that keeps on giving and surprising.

 

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.

DJ Cerydwen presents Hard Rock and Metal Night on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an absorbing and compelling genre of music.

This week on Thursday at 5 pm slt, DJ Amber will play a mix of soft rock tunes from the 1970s onwards, covering arguably the best decades of modern music.

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen presents a different weekly musical theme. This week we head to Merrie Olde England to celebrate the imminent coronation of King Charles III, our event to be held in The King's Head pub. Let's hope this Charles keeps his! Last week, Cerydwen recognized International Workers' Memorial Day - a day of remembrance and action for workers killed, disabled, injured or made unwell by their work.
