This Sunday at 4 pm SLT, DJ Avion will slow things down a little in the elegant environs of Ella's as we convene to show off our best formal attire and dance to soft rock.
Last Sunday we entered the way-back machine and celebrated the new year in a way that the ancient Romans surely didn't. Music about the passing of another year was accompanied by an array of appropriate costumes, parts of which succumbed to age and crumbled to dust as the evening progressed.
DJ Qntal is taking a break from her 5 am SLT Sunday Celtic Sunrise event for the duration of the northern summer and perhaps beyond - with the exception of the end-of-month Love Songs and Lingerie as occurred last week - but may return to a full schedule later this year. Watch for notices!
DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Lots of favorites, but always something new to discover from the decade that keeps on giving and surprising.
DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between the VB Pool and Surf's Up, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.
DJ Cerydwen presents Hard Rock and Metal Night on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an absorbing and compelling genre of music.
