Sadly, we have to recognize and accept that much-loved Cassie has passed away and will no longer be part of our lives. A plaque has been placed on the wall at the VB Memorial for those who wish to visit and commune with her. Deeply missed by all.

We start our week on Monday at 5pm SLT with DJ Cerydwen's 80s Night, lots of favorites but always full of surprises with songs rarely or never heard before.

On Tuesday at 5pm SLT DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.

DJ Cerydwen presents Hard Rock and Metal Night on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an absorbing and compelling genre of music.

Our last two events for the week are both theme parties:

On Fridays at 5pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen provides a different musical topic. This week the theme will be Kings and Queens, or any form of royalty, in the Versailles ballroom venue .... for attire, think regal, third assistant scullery maid, or anyone in between. Last week we visited the Venus Beach II Pony Club where Cerydwen played music relating to horses and all things equine.

Feeling a little blue? Then dance away your cares at 4 pm SLT Sunday with Bea's Blues in the Venus Beat Blues Club. Wear something denim, bluesy, or just come as you are. Last Sunday we boarded the pirate ship Booty to celebrate International Talk Like a Pirate Day. A wonderful array of piratical attire was accompanied by nautical music from DJ Avion.
