All photos shown below are from last week.

We start our week on Monday at 5pm SLT with DJ Cerydwen's 80s Night, lots of favorites but always full of surprises with songs rarely or never heard before.

On Tuesday at 5 pm SLT DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday. We currently alternate between the VB Pool and Surf's Up, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.

DJ Cerydwen presents Hard Rock and Metal Night on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather toy-filled dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an absorbing and compelling genre of music.

Our last two events for the week are both theme parties:

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen presents a different weekly musical theme. This week we travel to ancient Egypt for a dance party in the VB Pyramid, with tunes appropriate to the region or era. Dress suggestions may include costumes from the Greek-Roman-Pharaonic period, Arabian, mummies, plain white tunics. Last week gave us  'Construction' in a tribute to people who actually build stuff instead of destroying it.

If you're feeling a little blue, come and dance away your cares at 4 pm SLT Sunday with Bea's Blues in the Venus Beat Blues Club. Wear something denim, bluesy, or just come as you are. Last Sunday we moved to the hippie commune of Mudstock to celebrate the 57th anniversary of Woodstock, 15-18 August 1969.  Guests made the most of the opportunity to don Bohemian garb, and danced to music evocative of the era provided by DJ Avion.
