Oh Oh, I Sense a Pillow Fight in Our Future

On a wet and wonderful Sunday, Venusians flocked to the Mermaid Pool, where they were visited frequently by Flapper, who once again was unable to use her bottle-nose to join the contest. Others did, and the tri-winners as Best Mermaid were Bea (seen in pink with synchronized swimmer Bev), Surfer (with coconut half shells) and merdemon Irkalla (with diver's note pad), the latter two seen flanking Lyric.

Topless Tiki Toosday tomorrow, Game Night Thursday, then next Sunday it's a PJ Party. So, search your closets for jammies or nightgowns or boyshirts or whatever it is you sleep in...if anything.

'...It Was a Graveyard Smash'

We definitely weren't in Kansas anymore in Avion's fog-shrouded graveyard set and, sure enough, Dorothy and Toto were the center of attention as Alwayz won Best in Halloween honors.

Kick off the new week by welcoming Bea back to the 9 am SLT BEAvent. Then join us for Topless Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT in the Surf's Up! tiki bar (but, be alert for conspiring kitties). Surfer's Game night is a fun new fixture at 5 pm SLT Thursdays.  Get the swim fins out of storage 'cuz next Sunday at 4 pm SLT we'll join Flapper the rideable dolphin in the Mermaid Pool.

Don't Be a Halloween Weenie

Sunday's Halloween competition is "Best in Halloween" so be imaginative or cute or goofy or *gulp* scary, and join the fun at 4 pm SLT. Today there'll be an abbreviated Bea-less BEAvent at 9 am SLT. Tomorrow at 5 pm SLT it's Topless Tiki Toosday, where last week's guests included Flapper, Oscar, M.O.P., and Groucho Marx. Game night at 5 pm Thursday invariably concludes with a relaxing time in the spa.

Sunday's event at the stylish club Ella's saw Shy selected Best in Party Dress in widely distributed voting.

It's Party Time at Venus Beach II !!

Okay, it's always party time at VBII. But, this coming Sunday put on your prettiest party dress for the 4 pm SLT event in the stylish supper club atmosphere of Ella's. This past Sunday, the prolifically-postered Venus Beat Blues Club hosted the blues, and a best in denim contest won by Sunshine and Alwayz.

This week, also join us for the BEAvent at 9 am SLT Monday, Topless Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT Tuesday, Game Night at 5 pm SLT Thursday. And if you blondely roll out of bed for the 5 am SLT event on Friday it'll look a lot like that last pic. The Friday event is on hiatus until, um, "Spring has sprung" in the Northern Hemisphere (or thereabouts).
