Change brought a record number of weekly visitors to VBII and a record attendance to VBII's first coed
event as Bea moved her Wednesday classic swing event to Venus Gardens (details
and pics below). And this week's change: for those unable to join us on Thursdays,
Surfer will add a Monday Games Night at 5 pm SLT. Many more changes at VBII...watch this space.
Last night, Surfer was voted Best in '50s as DJ Bea rocked the drive-in malt shop and voting was spread among nearly a dozen entrants. Next Sunday we'll be observing the annual Talk Like a Pirate Day.
Our busy Monday begins the week with DJ Bea's Dance Party at 9 am SLT.
DJ Avion's movable Topless Tiki Toosday will find us pooling our asse(t)s this week.
With the sudden closure of the USO event venue, Avion quickly located the Venus Room on a plot at Venus Gardens, and the Honeysuckle Rose was born as DJ Bea's new classic swing club with events at 6 pm Wednesdays (swing attire requested). The inaugural coed event at VBII saw the gentlemen well-behaved and a record single-event turnout as Bea distributed 10 L1000 gift cards from Baby Monkey.
Avion added a new feature at last Thursday's Games Night: Strip Greedy. But the photographer was so busy losing (and dancing naked on the table) that she forgot to take pics. And don't forget: DJ Surfer's Games Night is now Mondays and Thursdays at 5 pm SLT. Come play with us!
