Mardi Gras on Bourbon Street!

Tired of Super Bowl hype? We are too. So next Sunday we'll forego our traditional Super Bowl party to gather on Bourbon Street for a preview of Mardi Gras. Break out your colorful, sexy garb, and prepare a believable answer for the inevitable follow-up question: "Exactly what did you do to get all those beads, young lady?"

On Grungy Sundy we ganged up in the back alley for two hours of "themed" music as we danced amid the trash. Annie and Qntal tied for Best in Ripped and Torn in a courtyard full of badly dressed, ill-behaved contestants.

 "Pay up!"

Monday moring at 9 SLT, DJ Bea will pay tribute to Jefferson Airplane after the same-day deaths of two of its original members. [Monday pics by Bea and Shy]

DJ JoAnn will offer a variation from her Monday-80s theme to bring us great music from the 60s at 5 pm SLT today.

We'll chill out in the pool for Tiki Toosday this week, but last week coincided with Australia Day.

Honeysuckle Rose is the home of Swingin' DJ Bea's classic swing event Wednesdays at 6 pm SLT. Swing era attire preferred for VBII's only co-ed event (men are welcome at this event), so be sure to drop in (or fly in) this week.

Games Night on Thursdays offers a wide variety of activities.
