What the Heck Is a 'Party Dress'?

Sunday evening DJ Bea rocked the malt shop with two hours of pre-British Invasion hits as we gathered in a variety of '50s attire. In close balloting Qntal was deemed Best in '50s. 

Next week we'll meet at the elegant Ella's in our party dresses. What's a "party dress"? If you're Googling or, perhaps, searching inventory or SLMP, think "cocktail" or "tea" dress.

We start each VBII week with a Monday double-header. At 9 am SLT, Bea goes eclectic.

Mondays at 5 pm SLT, DJ JoAnne entertains us, this week featuring songs from the '80s. 

This week DJ Avion takes Tiki Toosday's beachy theme to the VBII swimming pool at 5 pm Tuesday. 

Honeysuckle Rose is the home of Swingin' DJ Bea's 6 pm Wednesday classic swing event. It's the only VBII event open to men so feel free to invite anyone. Swing era attire preferred. [Wednesday photos by Avion]

 Thursdays at 5 pm, DJ Surfer invites you to join us for group games or pursue some the other activities available at the Venus Beach Amusement Park and environs.
