Where redneck and nekkid come together

Next Sunday at 4 pm SLT it'll be time to tiptoe past the menacing crocogator on the porch and join DJ Avion at Rednekkid Bar and Still for an evening of swampy tunes. Trashy chic attire, please.


Last evening we mellowed out to DJ Bea's blues set at the Venus Beach Blues Club. ZZ was voted Best in Denim.

Monday morning at 9 am SLT Bea is playing a summer-themed set with plenty of eclectic interjections.

Monday evening Avion added latex and nine inches of platform heels to fill in for vacationing DJ JoAnn, and Simone continued to attract much of the attention and conversation. It'll be Avion again tonight at 5 pm SLT, this week featuring '90s music.

This week Topless Tiki Toosday migrates west to the Surf's Up! Tiki Bar, where Avion will contintue her new stream of beachy tunes at 5 pm SLT.

Wednesdays at 6pm SLT, Swingin' DJ Bea presents a classic swing set that is open to men. Swing era attire or classy casual, please. This week features saxophonist and bandleader Jimmie Lunceford.

 
Games Night on Thursdays at 5 pm SLT features music by DJ Surfer and games like greedy and poker. Try any of the dozens of other activities at the Venus Beach Amusement Park Thursdays or any other day.

This week also marked the establishment of Venus Memorial Garden, a quiet spot on the Venus Gardens sim to commemorate and honor those we have lost from SL through their passing in RL.
