DJ Bea jazzed up Avion's Bourbon Street set with two hours of themely music at our annual preview of Mardi Gras, including the obscure 1953 song that led to the much covered "Iko Iko" -- "Jock-A-Mo" by Sugar Boy and His Cane Cutters.

Acoustic Sunrise founding DJ Suzi returns at 5 am Sunday at Venus Bean with, what else, a twisted theme--"Love Stinks" for an anti-Valentine event. Last Sunday the Le Mew & Le Purr partnership concluded its long fill-in run the morning after renewing their vows. We'll be hearing more from them.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of classic rock, blues, and jazz every Monday at 9 am SLT. This week, says Bea: "Turtles - two-fers - Joss Stone - and eclectic stuff."

New Kit on the Block - Shelly's Lady Gretel made her first appearance at VB II.

DJ JoAnn plays music from the incomparable '80s at 5 pm SLT Mondays. Tons of memorable hits, and always a few that are likely to be new to you.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new on Tiki Toosday, 5 pm SLT, at a variety of tropical locations on the VB II sims. This week we'll visit Neon Palms on the north sim of VB II.

DJ JoAnn plays symphonic and goth metal when we gather at Madam Lash's House of Pleasure and Pain each Wednesday at 5 pm SLT.

DJ Surfer provides the music when we get together for Games Night, Thursdays at 5 pm SLT. During Games Night, or any other time, the Amusement Park, Games Room and nearby airfield and racetrack provide endless activities and fun.

After celebrating JoAnn and Subus's wife Anja's 11th Rezday Anniversary with a fireworks filled party, DJ JoAnn returns us to Venus Beach II Friday at 5 pm SLT. This week's unique theme is famous covers, hit songs that outperformed the originals. Those with knowledge of music history can try to guess the eclipsed original artists.
