Road Trip! "Are We There Yet?"

Get your kicks on Route 66 this Sunday at 4 pm SLT at the VBII Race Track, where DJ Avion will be playing travel-related music ... take a spin around the track in or on one of the dozens of rezzable vehicles. Use your costume imagination to look like a traveller, bikini car wash girl, pump attendant, hitchhiker, let your imagination run free.

At our Sunday evening event last week, DJ Bea rocked the malt shop with top hits from the 1960 and '61 R&B charts.

At this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT Sunday, DJ Shelly will present "Love Songs and Lingerie" in Ella's. Last week, DJ Qntal presented Celtic and romantic songs in the Arabian Nights setting.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic set of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday says Bea, "Avion played the Four Seasons the other day, and I decided I needed to play some. Then came some Four Tops, and then it just sorta grew from there...". 

DJ JoAnn continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always something rarely or never heard before, as well as lots of favorites.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we gather for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between the VB Pool and Surf's Up which will be the location of next Tuesday's event.

DJ JoAnn presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT  in her latex and leather dungeon, now a permanent fixture on the Beach sim (catch a TP anytime from the teleport board on the wall of the landing hut). Dress is optional, but latex and leather work best.

Fridays at 5 pm SLT DJ JoAnn plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week, JoAnn will present Hair Bands (characterized by the band members having extremely long hair) in the VB Beauty Salon. Last week, JoAnn played Part 2 of angelic and demonic music in the bipartisan Heaven and Hell set.
