Last Sunday we gathered in the hippie commune of Mudstock to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Woodstock, 15-18 August 1969. Guests danced in bohemian outfits to period music.

At this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT Sunday, DJ Qntal will provide music for a theme and venue to be announced. Last week, DJ Shelly played Celtic and romantic songs in the Venus Bean coffee lounge.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic set of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday says Bea "This is a kind of odd set, and I am going to play the songs in the order I added them to the set. Lots of Bob Seger, since I finally got good downloads."

DJ JoAnn continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always something rarely or never heard before, as well as lots of favorites.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we gather for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool which will be the location of next Tuesday's event.

DJ JoAnn presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT  in her latex and leather dungeon, now a permanent fixture on the Beach sim (catch a TP anytime from the teleport board on the wall of the landing hut). Dress is optional, but latex and leather work best.

Fridays at 5 pm SLT DJ JoAnn plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week, JoAnn will present musical craziness in the Venus Beach Asylum (hopefully we're let out afterwards!). Last week, JoAnn played music to celebrate International Cat Day in Dolly's Cathouse, where guests took the other meaning of cathouse to heart.
