This Sunday at 4 pm SLT, DJ Avion will slow things down a little in the elegant environs of Ella's as we gather to show off our best formal attire and dance to soft rock.

Last Sunday evening DJ Bea played a selection of blues from a variety of artists and styles. Similarly, guests wore a diversity of outfits while the Venus Beach Blues Club provided fitting decor for the music.

At this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT Sunday, DJ Shelly will provide the music for a gathering at Venus Bean. Last week, DJ Qntal played rockin' Celtic songs featuring The Pogues, in the Arabian Nights venue.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic set of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday says Bea "The other day we were talking about the musical "Hair", which led to this set - some songs from the musical, and a lot of two-fers".

DJ JoAnn continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always something rarely or never heard before, as well as lots of favorites.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we gather for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between the VB Pool and Surf's Up which will be the location of next Tuesday's event.

DJ JoAnn presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT  in her latex and leather dungeon, now a permanent fixture on the Beach sim (catch a TP anytime from the teleport board on the wall of the landing hut). Dress is optional, but latex and leather work best.

Fridays at 5 pm SLT DJ JoAnn plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week, JoAnn will present Mermaid Rock in the VB mermaid pool - if you don't have a mermaid costume there are several freebies suitable for classic avatars at the pool, or swimwear will do just as well. Last week we bounced around the rubber room (VB Psychiatric Ward) where JoAnn played music with a maniacal bent.
