Last Sunday evening we attended a Short Shorts and Tiny Tops party on the tropical Hawaiian set where DJ Avion played beachy and bouncy tunes. Guests were similarly beachy and bouncy!
For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT Sunday, DJ Qntal will present a set of Celtic and Scottish music in the Scottish pub. Last week, DJ Shelly played romantic music in the mistakenly erected (guilty!) Scottish pub.
DJ Bea plays an eclectic set of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday Bea will play a set "observing the 49th anniversary of Janis Joplin, with a sad nod to Ginger Baker, who died Sunday".
DJ JoAnn continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always lots of favorites, as well as music rarely or never heard before.
DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we gather for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool which will be the location of next Tuesday's event.
DJ JoAnn presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music from a fantastic but often overlooked genre of music.
On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ JoAnn plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week we celebrate International Day of the Girl which aims to highlight and address the needs and challenges girls face. Last week, we boarded the USS Boobyprize for a science fiction party where guests were invited to dress in sci-fi costume.
