It's Wabbit Season!

The giant bunny is the venue for this week's Sunday evening event at 4 pm SLT, where DJ Avion will play music more or less related to Easter. Put on your Easter finery or bunny outfits, and hop on over for  two hours of chat and chuckles. Entry is through the rear .... but mind the chocolate eggs coming the other way!

Last Sunday evening we visited the exotic Taj Mahal and danced to tunes evocative of the sub-continent, provided by DJ Avion. Guests responded with a wonderful array of colorful Indian-style costumes.

For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Shelly will play Celtic and romantic music in Venus Bean. Last week DJ Qntal presented romantic Celtic music with a selection of lovely tunes in the Arabian Nights setting.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic set of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday Bea says "Since it is Tartan Day in the Scottish Diaspora (outside of Australia), and since I am unable to celebrate with my friends in RL, I am gonna celebrate it here. And a nod to mourn the death of Bill Withers."

DJ JoAnn continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always lots of favorites, as well as music you've rarely or never heard before.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we gather for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the location of next Tuesday's event.

DJ JoAnn presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT  in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an oft-overlooked but compelling genre of music.

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ JoAnn plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week JoAnn takes us to the retrofuturistic subgenre of science fiction, where we'll dance to a selection of steampunk tunes in the massive Lindenberg airship.  Last week, JoAnn played music related to numbers, something with which we have been overwhelmed recently.
