For this week's Sunday evening event at 4 pm SLT the venue will be the Rednekkid Bar & Grill Still where DJ Avion will spin Louisiana-inspired tunes and related music. Wondering what to wear? Redneck or trashy chic would work.

Last Sunday evening was the occasion of our annual observance of Star Wars Day, celebrating all forms of science fiction in the appropriate environs of the Death Star. Guests stepped up to the challenge with a terrific array of spacey costumes, while the Storm Troupers played through the night.

For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Shelly will play Celtic romance tunes in the new castle, which is proving popular for this genre of music. Last week DJ Qntal presented medieval and Celtic songs in the castle, where clothing and environment added to the atmosphere.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic set of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday Bea says "Today is the 50th anniversary of the Kent State shootings. I will play some Vietnam era protest songs, some songs loved by the folks serving there, and some period stuff to fill the set."

New Kit on the Block: Cheryl's Morgana

DJ JoAnn continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always lots of favorites, as well as music you've rarely or never heard before.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we gather for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the location of next Tuesday's event.

New Keeds, err, Steeds, on the Block, JoAnn's Featherpuff and Fluffball

DJ JoAnn presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT  in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an oft-overlooked but compelling genre of music.

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ JoAnn plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week's theme will be music from the movies on the Oscars set, giving us the chance to strut our stuff on the red carpet. Suggested attire might be favorite actress or movie costume, or a stunning gown for the paparazzi.
