Prom Night at Venus Beach II

For this week's event at 4 pm SLT Sunday the Class of 2020 gathers for Prom Night, harking back to the end of high school and to a time when gowns fitted without the use of alpha layers. Formal attire is suggested, but as always feel free to come as you are.

On Sunday evening DJ Bea played a selection of blues from a variety of artists and styles. Similarly, guests wore a diversity of outfits while the Venus Beat Blues Club provided fitting decor for the music.

For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5am SLT, DJ Shelly will play Celtic romance music in the medieval castle. Last week, DJ Qntal played music for a "Celebration of Ladies"  in the Venus Bean venue.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic set of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This week Bea says "I am going to explore the California sound and that sub-genre referred to as Sunshine Pop. Back to the sixties again."

DJ Joann continues her journey through that amazing decade of music, the 1980s, at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always something new or long forgotten to be heard, as well as lots of favorites.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists well-known and obscure, when we gather for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We alternate between the Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the location of this week's event.

JoAnn's new inflatable companion, Waldmeister the balloodle

DJ JoAnn presents Symphonic and Goth Metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an oft-overlooked but compelling genre of music.

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ JoAnn plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week JoAnn will play Goth rock for World Goth Day, when the Goth scene celebrates its own existence and makes its presence known to the rest of the world. Last week JoAnn played part 3 of the Numbers theme, with music relating to, well, numbers!
