Pride Month in June recognizes and honors the LGBTQ among us and those of us who support them, a consistent theme of VB II since its founding. For our event at 4 pm SLT Sunday, DJ Avion will play themely tunes while we display our choice of rainbow attire.

Last Sunday evening DJ Avion presented Themeless Thunday, though it did have a theme of thorts ... err, sorts ... with music about nothing, nowhere, don't care. Guests had no trouble finding an outfit for come-as-you-like.

For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Shelly will present Celtic and romance music in the medieval castle. Last week, DJ Qntal played a selection of sweet music for the end-of-month Love Songs and Lingerie on the big bed in the Venus Bean coffee lounge.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic set of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This week Bea says "I am going to kick off summer with a cross-genre set of summer-y songs."

DJ Joann continues her journey through that amazing decade of music, the 1980s, at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always something new or long forgotten to be heard, as well as lots of favorites.

New Kit on the Block: JoAnn's Mr Mittens

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists well-known and obscure, when we gather for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the location of this week's event.

DJ JoAnn presents Symphonic and Goth Metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an oft-overlooked but compelling genre of music.

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ JoAnn plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week, as a follow-on to last week's event, JoAnn will play music in appreciation of those who serve in the armed forces to bring peace to areas of conflict, set in a M*A*S*H*-like environment. Last week JoAnn played songs of love and peace in honor of the International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers, at the Mudstock venue.
