Avion and Shy's Buttery Adventure

A weathered little seaside sim strangely called Butter (its LM tagline is "You Butter Come Back!") offers a relaxing small vacation from one's customary sims. You'll land in front of a hacienca-like coffee shop. Grab a to-go cup and head west to see the rest of the small town. Head north to the farm, then east to a ravine that bisects most of the sim. [Left-click on the invisiprim to use the zipline, don't try to "sit" as "some blonde" did. Before rope-climbing, the words you're looking for are, "Hold my coffee."

Past the small lighthouse and Butterfly Bay there's a second zipline to a tiny fishing-oriented island, The Butter End. Back on the big island head south up the hill toward a charming little garden cottage, then on the cliff above town there's a campground that has everything from a ramshackle motel to a tent (there's no Four Seasons here!). Farther south, a second small island (no zipline so fly or hold your breath and walk) has a cottage and sunbathing platform, Butter Pat Island.

Last Sunday evening we danced to the beat of the big bands in the Honeysuckle Rose venue for a varied set of swing tunes from DJ Bea. Guests took the opportunity to don period attire.

For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Shelly will present Celtic and romantic songs in the medieval castle. Last week, DJ Qntal played a beautiful set of songs on the Love Songs and Lingerie theme, repeated for those unable to attend during the previous Sunday's internet outages.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic set of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday, Bea will play "a genuwine certified multi-decade multi-genre Bea hodge podge."

Nai absorbed the music from Surf's Up

DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always lots of favorites, as well as music you've rarely or never heard before.

A surprise dinner guest was Bugs' cousin, Wabbit Stu

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the location of next Tuesday's event.

DJ Cerydwen presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT  in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an oft-overlooked but compelling genre of music.

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT DJ Cerydwen plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week's theme will be Bedtime Stories, where Cerydwen will will play themely music while we dance on the Big Bed. Last week we dived into the Mermaid Pool for a colorful display of costumery while Cerydwen played water-related music.
