For this week's Sunday evening event at 4 pm SLT we brave the fog and denizens of the Venus Beach Graveyard for a spooktastic night celebrating All Hallow's Eve, where DJ Avion will play Halloween-themed music. Be fun, be scary, or just be you.

Last Thursday saw a special event when DJ Cerydwen arranged and provided music for a party to celebrate the union of your bloggers, Shy Librarian and Avion Luminos. Our thanks to all those who attended "our night" or sent wishes, very much appreciated!
Last week on Sunday evening at 4 pm, DJ Bea spun two hours of pre-1965 R&B, rockabilly and plain old rock and roll. Many guests dressed to the theme with a cool array of 50s/60s attire.
For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Shelly will present the regular end-of-month Love Songs and Lingerie on the Big Bed at Venus Bean. Last week, DJ Shelly showed her piratical colors with a selection of nautical tunes aboard the "Blackish Pearl" pirate ship.
DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday, Bea will play "another Bea cross-genre, throw this that and the other thing at the playlist."
DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always lots of favorites, as well as music you've rarely or never heard before.
DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.
DJ Cerydwen presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an oft-overlooked but compelling genre of music.

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week, we spend a second stint in The Dungeon where Cerydwen will play BDSM and Fetish music ... and maybe a little more Symphonic and Goth metal. So, dig into that secret inventory and show off your "special" wardrobe. Last week Cerydwen presented food-related tunes in the Happy Daze diner to honor the founding of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in 1945.
