Last week on Sunday evening we headed into the deep south where DJ Avion played rockabilly and country music in the Rednekkid Bar and Grill Still. Redneck finery was to the fore! 

For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Shelly will offer some fun Christmassy music in the Venus Freeze venue. Last week, DJ Qntal presented a showcase of Canadian music artists in the appropriate Kamp Kanada setting.

Relaxing by the campfire ....

DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday, Bea says "I started with the songs left from last week, and then it turned into a tribute to Clarence Clemons, then an ode to the tenor sax, and then I was reminded that we lost John Lennon 40 years ago last Tuesday."

DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always lots of favorites, as well as music you've rarely or never heard before.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.

DJ Cerydwen presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an oft-overlooked but compelling genre of music.

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week, we observe International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers, an annual event calling attention to hate crimes and discrimination committed against "working girls". Last week we paid a return visit to another of the great decades of music, the 1970s.
