This week we dance to the beat of the big bands on Sunday at 4 pm SLT when DJ Bea presents classic swing artists in the Honeysuckle Rose venue. Attire may be swing era, 1930s/40s, deco or just classy, but don't forget your dancing shoes!

Last Sunday evening DJ Avion played mostly modern, and some traditional, music by Irish artists in celebration of St Patrick's Day, in the environs of O'Reilly's pub. Much greenery was in evidence, including the beer.
For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Qntal will serve up a round of 80s music - very timely, given the temporary change to Monday evening's regular 80s event. Last week, Qntal presented Blinded By Science to commemorate the birth of Albert Einstein and the passing of Stephen Hawking, both on March 14th, with science fiction themed music.
DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday, Bea says "I hope you aren't sick and tired of St Patrick's Day yet, because I am doing my take on it. Some great Irish rock, along with some more traditional music."
Monday evening at 5 pm SLT is normally reserved for DJ Cerydwen's 80s Night, but in celebration of her 5,000th day in Second Life this week she will play a selection of her favorite music. Congratulations Cerydwen!
DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between the VB Pool and Surf's Up, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.
DJ Cerydwen presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an oft-overlooked but compelling genre of music.
On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week we will be celebrating International Day of Happiness, a United Nations inspired means of recognizing happiness and well-being as a fundamental human goal .... and particularly relevant in these difficult times. Last week we returned to The Dungeon for a great selection of BDSM-themed music .... that got some of the kinks out!
