 This Sunday at 4 pm SLT we get down to bare essentials with a Hats, Heels and Hose party .... but as always, if you're of a more modest disposition, wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Theme music will be provided by DJ Avion.

Last Sunday evening we danced to a lively mix of classic and modern swing and jazz tunes from DJ Bea, in the Honeysuckle Rose venue. Swing attire was in evidence for many of the guests. 

For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Qntal will present the regular end-of month Love Songs and Lingerie on the Big Bed at Venus Bean. Last week, Qntal played a great selection of 1980s music, a timely replacement of the normal Monday 80s Night.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday, Bea will play ".... lots of miscellaneous whatever, and one complete Moody Blues album."

DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always lots of favorites, as well as music you've rarely or never heard before. Last week was a temporary change to DJ's Choice to mark DJ Cerydwen's 5,000 days in Second Life. Congratulations Cerydwen!

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.

DJ Cerydwen presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an oft-overlooked but compelling genre of music.

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week we will be celebrating the northern hemisphere vernal equinox, marking the beginning of spring - a major date observed for millennia so will be held appropriately in the pagan VenusHenge. Last week we observed International Day of Happiness, a United Nations inspired means of recognizing happiness and well-being as a fundamental human goal.
