Last Sunday we moved to the hippie commune of Mudstock to celebrate the 52nd anniversary of Woodstock, 15-18 August 1969.  Guests made the most of the opportunity to don Bohemian garb, and danced to music evocative of the era provided by DJ Avion.

For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Qntal will present the regular end-of month Love Songs and Lingerie on the Big Bed at Venus Bean. Last week, Qntal played a lively set of  Celtic music with a rock beat at the newly built venue.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday, Bea says "I was going along with this nice hodge podge set ... and then I recalled I had intended to get more Blondie ... so I did ... and then Don Everly died ... so Blondie and Everly Brothers and ... other stuff." 

DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always lots of favorites, as well as music you've rarely or never heard before.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.

DJ Cerydwen presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an oft-overlooked but compelling genre of music.

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week we climb to the treetops of Darkest SL for a dance event with a jungly motif, where Cerydwen will be drumming up a mix of themely tunes. Suggested attire is anything related to denizens of the jungle, human or animal. Last week also involved getting high, when we ascended to the clouds where Cerydwen continued the "elemental" theme and played music relating to the Elemental Air topic.
