This Sunday at 4 pm SLT, DJ Avion will slow things down a little in the elegant environs of Ella's as we convene to show off our best formal attire and dance to soft rock.
Bea's This Week in VB II
Last Sunday evening DJ Bea played a selection of blues from a variety of artists and styles. Guests wore bluesy/denimy outfits while the Venus Beat Blues Club provided fitting decor for the music.
For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT Sunday, DJ Qntal will present the regular end-of-month Love Songs and Lingerie on the Big Bed at Venus Bean. Last week, Qntal presented Canadian Content, music by Canadian performers in the Kamp Kanada venue.
DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday Bea says "I bought about a dozen songs that I only had rips of - and then I threw in a bunch of other stuff - a lot of 60s, but not all".
DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Lots of favorites, but always something new to discover from the decade that keeps on giving.
DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.
DJ Cerydwen presents Metal Night on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an absorbing and compelling genre of music.
This week on Thursday at 5 pm slt, DJ Sara continues to play a great mix of rock tunes from the 1970s onwards, covering arguably the best decades of modern music.
On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen presents a different weekly musical theme. This week, Cerydwen will take us into a Dreamin' state up in the clouds. Last week we embarked on a Fantasy musical journey to the ruined castle, complete with gabby guest demoness.
