As we head towards our twelfth anniversary in 2023 I would like to take this opportunity to thank our members and guests for your support during the year, and in particular the officers and DJs who have done so much to keep Venus Beach II a lively and welcoming place. Happy New Year to you all!
Next Sunday at 4 pm SLT we continue with our traditional New Year Toga party, which has been run every year since 2010. Theme dress would include togas, silks, or anything ancient-worldly or new-yearly.
Last Sunday evening the Northern Hemispherians escaped the cold and snow for two hours with a downunder tropical Christmas party, where DJ Avion played a mix of Christmas and other rocking tunes. A little more clothing came off than the photographs indicate!
For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT Sunday, DJ Qntal will present a deferred Love Songs & Lingerie on the Big Bed at Venus Bean. Qntal was unavailable last week due to Christmas commitments.
DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday Bea will not be available due to family commitments over Christmas, but normal transmission will resume next week.
DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Lots of favorites, but always something new to discover from the decade that keeps on giving and surprising.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.
DJ Cerydwen presents Hard Rock and Metal Night on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an absorbing and compelling genre of music.
This week on Thursday at 5 pm slt, DJ Sara continues to play a great mix of rock tunes from the 1970s onwards, covering arguably the best decades of modern music.
