It's All Greek To Me

This Sunday at 4 pm SLT we travel back in time to the Parthenon in ancient Greece, where DJ Avion will provide a round of music about Greece, or by Greek artists. Dress suggestions might include goddess, toga-style, Greek warrior .... or perhaps something more Spartan!

Last Sunday we boarded the pirate ship Booty to celebrate International Talk Like a Pirate Day. A wonderful array of piratical attire was accompanied by nautical music from DJ Avion. 

DJ Qntal will be returning to her 5 am SLT Sunday Celtic Sunrise slot this week, with the regular end-of-month Love Songs & Lingerie event.

DJ Bea will be taking a break from her 9 am Monday morning set for at least the rest of September. Watch for notices! 

DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Lots of favorites, but always something new to discover from the decade that keeps on giving and surprising.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.

DJ Cerydwen presents Hard Rock and Metal Night on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her updated latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an absorbing and compelling genre of music.

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen presents a different weekly musical theme. This week we visit the Venus Beach II Pony Club where Cerydwen will play music relating to horses and all things equine. Topical attire could include riding outfit, jockey gear, centaur, western clothing or simply a punter. Last week we also went animalistic when Cerydwen presented a farming and country flavored Dairy Tails theme in the VB Barn.
