Avion and Shy's Excellent Adventures, Part CLIX
This week at Celtic Sunrise (5 am SLT), DJ Qntal will be spinning the tunes in Kamp Kanada, celebrating her own and partner Shelly's birthdays. Last week DJ Shelly presented a return to the origins of the event with a lovely selection of acoustic music on the Venus Bean Big Bed.
DJ Bea plays an eclectic set of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday Bea says "I decided to do a late Valentine's Day set." Last chance to wear those theme clothes before being packed away for another year.
DJ JoAnn continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always lots of favorites, as well as music rarely or never heard before.
DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we gather for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between the VB Pool and Surf's Up, which will be the location of next Tuesday's event.
DJ JoAnn presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an oft-overlooked but compelling genre of music.
Cheryl went ape for a while, but tearing a Linden apart proved soothing ...

Avion and Shy's Excellent Adventures, Part CLIX
Avion and Shy recently resumed their series of photographic visits to interesting sims in SL, and we forgot which number this is so we called it the camera-esque Part CLIX. [Avion obviously removed her shoes faster cuz she quickly pointed out that it might mean 159.] We visited the old world sim Florence at Low Tide, which is named in honor of both of the co-owners' mothers. Last Sunday evening at 4 pm SLT we visited Bourbon Street in New Orleans to celebrate Mardi Gras, where beads and feathers dominated the costumery. DJ Bea provided the lively Louisiana-inspired music.

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ JoAnn plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week JoAnn dares us to enter the ruined castle for a selection of ghostly music - a different kind of 'spirits' to the previous Friday! Last week we got a little tipsy from the fumes of JoAnn's drinking-related music in the Venus Beach Sports Bar.
