This week on Sunday at 4 pm SLT we bounce onto the Venus Beach Big Bed for our semi-regular Pajama Party. Don your favorite sleepwear (if any) and join us for two hours of chat, dancing and pillow fights, with slumber-themed music from DJ Avion to conversely keep you awake.

Shy and Avion's Last Adventure
The Sim Quarterly is a homestead where SL creators and dreamers share their sim-wide, 3D installations with the community! Every quarter (every 3 months) the sim invites a new artist-in-residence to present their work.
The current offering, Ghosts of Jericho, is a scenic installation designed, curated and posed by Elizabeth Jewell, with an original soundscape concept and experience by Electric Monday. It features two islands from which the inhabitants have mysteriously vanished .. Here's the landmark.
A short distance from the landing point is a ferry, sit in it to be instantly transported to The Boathouse fisherman's fhack on the main island. Make sure you have music turned on for some background eeriness.
A set of wooden steps takes one up the hill and on to a bridge crossing to a smaller island, where there is a cute artist's studio. Back across the bridge and to the right is a (non-interactive) lighthouse; continuing from there across the hilltop (or around the shore if you don't mind getting your feet wet) is another abandoned home.
From there it's a short stretch back to The Boathouse; try not to get lost in the cave system, as we did!

Last week on Sunday evening at 4 pm we intended indulging in a round of blues music, however DJ Bea was unable to log on so DJ Cerydwen stepped in with two hours of excellent 1970s tunes. As this was a last-minute change, we continued in the Venus Beat Blues Club where guests displayed an array of bluesy attire.

For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Shelly will go back to where it all started with Celtic and romantic music at Venus Bean. Last week, DJ Qntal presented an intriguing mix of Arabian and Celtic music in the 1001 Nights venue.
DJ Bea normally plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday, with uncertainty about Bea's ability to log into SL, a substitute DJ may take over the stream. But the party WILL go ahead!
DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always lots of favorites, as well as music you've rarely or never heard before.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.
DJ Cerydwen presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an oft-overlooked but compelling genre of music.
On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week, Cerydwen will play music related to Transgender Day of Remembrance, an annual observance on November 20th to honor the memory of transgender people who have lost their lives through transphobic violence. Suggested attire .... pride colors? or surprise us with your creativity!
In mid-blog together for the last time ....
