The King's Head British pub is the venue for this week's event at 4 pm SLT Sunday, where DJ Avion will play music by modern English artists to celebrate St George's Day, which is seen as the national day of England. No dragons will be harmed during the night!
Bea's This Week in VB II
Last week on Sunday evening at 4 pm, DJ Bea spun a mix of classic rock'n'roll from the 1950s and early 60s in the Malt Shop venue, where many guests dressed to the theme with a cool array of period attire.
For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Qntal will present the regular end-of month Love Songs and Lingerie on the Big Bed at Venus Bean. Last week, Qntal played music from the movies and TV on the red carpet at the Oscars site.
DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday, Bea will play ".... a classic album, some this and that, and a small Earth Day tribute."
DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always lots of favorites, as well as music you've rarely or never heard before.
DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.
DJ Cerydwen presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an oft-overlooked but compelling genre of music.
On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen plays a musical theme that often takes place in one of the special venues. This week Cerydwen takes us on a Fantasy musical voyage - possible attire might include fairy-tale, mythical, folklore, imaginary. Last week the topic was World Voice Day, where Cerydwen presented music with great singing voices - and so they were!
