Bea Swings the Beach

This week we dance to the beat of the big bands on Sunday at 4 pm SLT when DJ Bea presents classic swing artists in the Honeysuckle Rose venue. Attire may be swing era, 1930s/40s, deco or just classy, but don't forget your dancing shoes!

Last Sunday evening DJ Avion played a mix of modern and traditional music by Irish artists in celebration of St Patrick's Day, in the environs of O'Reilly's pub.

For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Qntal will present "Great Rock Singers", featuring noted exponents of rock music. Last week, Qntal played a lively selection of Celtic music in the Irish pub.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday, Bea will present "More St Patrick's Day shenanigans!"

DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Lots of favorites, but always something new to discover from the decade that keeps on giving.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between the VB Pool and Surf's Up, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.

DJ Cerydwen presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an absorbing and compelling genre of music.

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen presents a different musical theme each week. This week, Cerydwen will present Ostara, the pagan spring equinox celebration, at VenusHenge. Suggested dress? Celtic, pagan, fantasy? Last week we revisited the half-and-half Heaven and Hell venue where we once again chose sides .... although some hedged their bets with a foot in both camps!
