For this week's event at 4 pm SLT Sunday we give our guests a break from choosing an on-theme costume by presenting Themeless Thunday. So, come as you are or as you want and dance to songs about nothing from DJ Avion.
Bea's This Week in VB II
Last Sunday evening we danced to a lively mix of pre-1947 classic swing tunes from DJ Bea, in the Honeysuckle Rose venue. Swing era attire with a 1930s/40s look was in evidence for many of the guests.
For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Qntal will present the regular end-of-month Love Songs and Lingerie on the Big Bed at Venus Bean. Last week, Qntal played an excellent selection of music covering "Great Rock Singers".
DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday, Bea will present part 2 of the first song that made the US Top Ten for a variety of bands.
DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Lots of favorites, but always something new to discover from the decade that keeps on giving.
DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.
DJ Cerydwen presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an absorbing and compelling genre of music.
