This Sunday at 4 pm SLT we celebrate a slightly early St Patrick's Day in O'Reilly's pub, where DJ Avion will be playing music by modern Irish artists. Green is the color of the day for the Emerald Isle!
Bea's This Week in VB II
Last Sunday evening we revisited our childhood fantasies in the Venus Beach Public Library where we dressed as our favorite fairytale characters and danced to themely music by DJ Avion.
For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Qntal will play a selection of Celtic and Irish music for an early celebration of St Patrick's Day. Last week, Qntal presented "Keyboard Heroes", with music featuring noted pianists.
DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday, Bea says "I am going to play the first song that made the US Top Ten for about 40 different bands ...."
DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Lots of favorites, but always something new to discover from the decade that keeps on giving.
DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.
DJ Cerydwen presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an absorbing and compelling genre of music.
