Star Trek, the Borg Experience

For this week's Sunday evening event at 4 pm SLT we assimilate ourselves into the Borg Collective for some Trekkish and sci-fi music presented by DJ Avion. Humans, aliens and cyborgs are welcome for a Borgasmic time!

Last Sunday evening we used the way-back machine (for some of us the WAY-way-back machine) to revisit our school days and actually enjoy them this time around. Guests dressed as they wished they could have at the time while DJ Avion played a selection of school-related music.

For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT Sunday, DJ Qntal will present a set of rocking Celtic music. Last week's Celtic Sunrise was once again in hiatus.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday Bea says "I started out with some ZZ Top, and it sort of evolved into a blues set - except where it isn't?"

DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Lots of favorites, but always something new to discover from the decade that keeps on giving.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.

DJ Cerydwen presents Metal Night on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an absorbing and compelling genre of music.

This week on Thursday at 5 pm slt, DJ Sara continues to play a great mix of rock tunes from the 1970s onwards, covering arguably the best decades of modern music.

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen presents a different weekly musical theme. This week Cerydwen will observe International Literacy Day, a UNESCO initiative to highlight the importance of literacy to individuals, with a selection of music relating to reading and writing - or lack of it. Last week, Cerydwen played the numbers game with a great set of tunes on a numerical theme.
