January 26th is the official national day of Australia, marking the anniversary of European settlement in 1788. This week on Sunday at 4 pm SLT, DJ Avion will be spinning a selection of tunes by Australian artists, in an outback bushland setting in the shadow of Uluru .... and complete with a sausage sizzle.

Last week on Sunday evening at 4 pm, DJ Bea spun a great of selection of rock'n tunes from the 1950s. Some guests dressed to the theme with a fitting array of period attire.
For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT Sunday, DJ Qntal will present music by European bands, who often receive little air time outside that part of the world. Last week Qntal played a fine mix of Irish and Celtic themed music in the Irish pub.
DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday Bea will play " ... a tribute to Jeff Beck, who died on the 10th. Some freedom songs for Martin Luther King Day. And some old Motown to fill up the rest."
DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Lots of favorites, but always something new to discover from the decade that keeps on giving and surprising.
DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between the VB Pool and Surf's Up, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.
DJ Cerydwen presents Hard Rock and Metal Night on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an absorbing and compelling genre of music.
This week on Thursday at 5 pm slt, DJ Amber will play a mix of rock tunes from the 1970s onwards, covering arguably the best decades of modern music - watch for notices.
