Dolly's, aka the Best Little Cathouse in SL, gives us the opportunity to celebrate our furry feline friends, and for us humans to emulate them in catly attire or to strumpet our stuff as ladies of dubious virtue. Last week on Sunday evening at 4 pm SLT, DJ Avion played music by Australian performers to mark Australia's national day on January 26th, with a sausage sizzle against the background of Uluru (the big red rock in the middle of the country). Many guests dressed in Australian summery attire to add to the ambience of the occasion.
For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT Sunday, DJ Qntal will present the regular end-of-month Love Songs & Lingerie on the Big Bed at Venus Bean. Last week, Qntal entertained us with Europe Rocks, a wide selection of music played by continental European bands.
DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday Bea says " I had this nice set all ready, then David Crosby died. That means a tribute to his work."
DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Lots of favorites, but always something new to discover from the decade that keeps on giving and surprising.
DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.
DJ Cerydwen presents Hard Rock and Metal Night on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an absorbing and compelling genre of music.
This week on Thursday at 5 pm slt, DJ Amber will play a mix of soft rock tunes from the 1970s onwards, covering arguably the best decades of modern music.
On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen presents a different weekly musical theme. This week Cerydwen will play glam rock tunes in tribute to the "hair bands" of the 1980s, and to celebrate the annual National Big Wig Day (the last Friday in January), in the Venus Beach Beauty Salon. Last week Cerydwen played BDSM and fetish themed music in a second visit for the week to the Dungeon.
