Last Sunday evening we visited Bourbon Street in New Orleans to celebrate Mardi Gras, where beads and feathers dominated the spectacular costumery. DJ Bea provided the lively Louisiana-inspired music.

For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT Sunday, DJ Qntal will present the regular end-of-month Love Songs and Lingerie on the Big Bed at Venus Bean. Last week Qntal played a lovely selection of Celtic and Medieval themed music.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday Bea will play "Another genuine random what the heck is coming next set." Gotta be there to find out.

DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Lots of favorites, but always something new to discover from the decade that keeps on giving and surprising.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.

DJ Cerydwen presents Hard Rock and Metal Night on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an absorbing and compelling genre of music.

This week on Thursday at 5 pm slt, DJ Amber will play a mix of soft rock tunes from the 1970s onwards, covering arguably the best decades of modern music.

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen presents a different weekly musical theme. This week, we don big hair and platform shoes when Cerydwen takes us to Xanadu for a round of great music from the flashy disco era. Last week the theme was Black & White, music with black and/or white in the title,where most guests chose to adopt monochrome dress to match the music and the setting.
