Last Sunday evening we visited Gay Paree for a night of burlesque and cabaret in the iconic Moulin Rouge, with appropriate music provided by DJ Avion. Guests dressed to the nines (or tens?) in corsetry and feathers.

For this week's Celtic Sunrise at 5 am SLT, DJ Qntal will play music by European artists,  who often receive little air time outside that part of the world. Last week, Qntal presented part 2 of music from the British Isles, with many great songs new to this blogger.

DJ Bea plays an eclectic mix of rock, blues and jazz on Monday mornings at 9 am SLT. This Monday, Bea says "This was gonna be a hodge podge of 60s stuff I don't play often ... and then Michael Nesmith of The Monkees died ... so a tribute to him, as well." 

DJ Cerydwen continues her journey into the best decades of contemporary music with 80s Night at 5 pm SLT Monday. Always lots of favorites, as well as music you've rarely or never heard before.

DJ Avion spins tunes old and new, by artists legendary and obscure, when we get beachy for Tiki Toosday at 5 pm SLT. We currently alternate between Surf's Up and the VB Pool, which will be the venue for next Tuesday's event.

DJ Cerydwen presents Symphonic and Goth metal on Wednesdays at 5 pm SLT, in her latex and leather dungeon. Great music in a perfect setting for an oft-overlooked but compelling genre of music.

On Fridays at 5 pm SLT, DJ Cerydwen plays a musical theme that usually takes place in one of a variety of special venues. This week - jeepers peepers! - Cerydwen will present the theme "Eyes" ... come have a look-see! Attire - novelty eye-wear? second sight strategically placed lower down? be inventive! Last week Cerydwen played a dynamic set of music related to cars and fast driving on the VB Racetrack.
